Observation, Feedback and Action Planning

When done brilliantly and with the right intentions, feedback is the avenue to performance greatness.

Colleagues have to know what they are doing well and where they need to develop. For them to really hear your thoughts and suggestions on ways to improve, though, that feedback has to be delivered carefully and frequently to have lasting positive impact.

02

Coaching

The first step in any effort to improve colleague performance is counselling or coaching.

Coaching often provides positive feedback about contributions. Colleagues need to know when they are effective contributors. By providing this positive feedback, you are also letting your colleague know the actions and contributions that you'd like to reinforce so that you see more of them.

03

Train the Trainer

Training provides new knowledge or skills to colleagues, enabling them to reach new heights of performance.

04

Communicating wIth Influence

The ability to influence and direct both colleagues and managers within your business area is a key skill that will support your achievement of strategic goals.

Understanding how to communicate effectively with different audiences will support every aspect of your leadership, yet it is a skill some ignore.

05

Change Management

The ability to weather change and come through the other side is a key aspect of top performing leaders, but often is found to be lacking in even the best performing teams.

06

Time Management

All the skill and knowledge in the world is useless in the hands of a manager who hasn’t the time to apply it all.

The ability to manage your time effectively is absolutely essential to a leader, your continued success relies upon you juggling your many responsibilities without dropping one.
